Sofiane Ouali has over 6 years of safety management experience in the oil and gas exploration and production safety, where he served as a safety officer, advisor and coordinator in the drilling rigs. Mr. Ouali is an OSHA authorized outreach trainer in general and construction industries, and holds a certificate from OSHA in Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Safety.

Sofiane has an extensive education in Occupational Safety and Health; has earned a Safety Associate, a Specialist in Safety and Health, an Advanced Safety and an Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Safety Certificates from different OTIs in the United States. Sofiane has earned numerous safety certifications in a variety of other safety related fields.

Started his career in Algeria his home country as a Safety Animator in a company of building roads and bridges, where he worked one year from 2006 to 2007. Sofiane moved quickly through the ranks into Safety Management and discovered a different industry. His career path led him to the Oil & Gas industry, where he was in charge of the implementation of a Safety Management Program in the drilling rigs.

He worked as a safety officer for FCP from 2006 to 2007. He joined CEPSA project in RKF basin as a safety advisor from 2007 to 2009. His passion for the oil drilling operations led him to create a Safety Management Program for the drilling rigs. This was a turning point in Sofiane's career. Implementing the safety management program was a success in his two last drilling projects with REPSOL 2009-2010, and British Gas end of 2010.

Committed to providing a safe and healthful workplace, Sofiane's area of responsibility includes compliance with all the regulations relating to occupational safety and health. Sofiane provides leadership, training, Hazard identification, awareness, implementing corrective actions, information, resources, policy development to all rig employees and departments.
