About the OSHA Training Institute

Education Center at Arizona State University

 The OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) at Arizona State University, your trusted source for expert-led occupational safety and health training. As part of a national network of nonprofit organizations authorized by the U.S. Department of Labor, we provide essential safety education to private and public sector professionals, organizations, and agencies. Our comprehensive courses—ranging from half-day sessions to four-day programs—cover construction, general industry, health care, and disaster site response. Whether you're an individual seeking to enhance your safety knowledge or an organization looking for customized training, we offer flexible learning options:

  • Open Enrollment courses at our state-of-the-art facilities
  • Live, Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) delivered over zoom
  • On-site contract training tailored to your team's needs

 

Courses offered include OSHA Standards and Outreach Training Program trainer and update courses and topic specific courses such as record keeping, machine guarding, confined space entry, electrical standards, and fall arrest systems. Click here to view our courses.

We offer courses throughout OSHA San Francisco Region covering Alaska, American Samoa, Arizona, California, Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands, Guam,  Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Positioning our OTI Education Center in this manner allows us to draw on the expertise of many of our existing faculty members; bringing many years of expertise in the areas of teaching and education, construction management and safety, general industrial safety and process management.

COURSE CREDIT

 

All courses taken through the OSHA Education Center are not taken for academic credit and cannot be applied towards a degree at Arizona State University. Attendees who successfully complete these courses are furnished with a certificate of completion and awarded Continuing Education Credits according to our policy. Accordingly, a 1098-T will not be issued for the fees for these courses.

CANCELLATIONS

 

Resources for courses are allocated based on course registration, therefore we must strictly enforce the following cancellation policy. Cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the course, or no-shows, will forfeit the course registration fees.
