ASU Scaffold and Ladder Safety Course

 

This course covers OSHA requirements for setting up, inspecting and working with scaffold systems, temporary stairs and ladders.  This course is designed to familiarize the student with the OSHA compliance standards for various types of scaffolding including supported, suspended, and aerial lifts. Students will learn how scaffolds work and how to do basic load analysis.  The course also includes instruction on the use of temporary stairs and ladders used in construction, including information on properly utilizing “job built” systems and various safe working practices. 

 

Attendees will receive 0.4 continuing education credits, informational handouts and checklists, electronic copies of supporting documents and much more.
